Product Returns

Items purchased from C.A.R. Business Products are not eligible for a refund. Absolutely no returns will be accepted for Standard Forms, ReadyPaks®, Digital Publications or anything shrink-wrapped. But most products may be exchanged within 10 Business Days of receipt for items that are damaged in shipping, defective or have printing errors. 
Please allow two weeks for processing. All shipments should be inspected immediately.

RMA Number

Returns must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Before you return an item, please contact the C.A.R. Customer Contact Center at 213-739-8227 to receive an RMA number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted. After you receive an RMA number for your item(s), write the RMA number on your packing slip, and mail (1) the original (or a copy of your) packing slip with RMA number, and (2) your item to:

Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the item(s). Refunds will be given in the same manner as the original payment.

Purchasing for other people
All purchases must be made by the person attending the course and no substitutions will be allowed. Certificates can only be issued in the name of the person who purchased the course.

Only C.A.R. Members are eligible to purchase and take courses at Member pricing. If you purchased a class for someone else in error, please email us at education@car.org with the online order number, and include a phone number where we can reach you.

Need to reschedule?
You may transfer to a future LearnMyWay® session without penalty at any time up to two (2) days prior to your course. We allow one reschedule per course. If you provide C.A.R. Education with less than a two (2) day notice or fail to attend, you will be liable for the entire course fee.

Second and subsequent reschedules will result in a $15.00 processing fee per reschedule. All rescheduling requests must be sent to education@car.org and include the order number associated with the purchase of the course. 

Cancellation and refund policy
You may cancel a course without penalty at any time up to two (2) days prior to your course. Those who book within two (2) days are not eligible for cancellation or refunds. To cancel, please send an email to education@car.org and identify the name of the course and include the order number associated with the purchase of the course. Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment that was made.

Refund and Exchange Policy for All Online Anytime Courses

  1. Purchasing for other people: All purchases made on or after July 1, 2017, must be made by the person attending the course and no substitutions will be allowed. Certificates can only be issued in the name of the person who purchased the course.
  2. You may cancel enrollment by giving email notice to education@car.org within 5 business days after the date of enrollment but only if you have not opened the online anytime course. If you request cancellation during that 5 day period and you have not started the course, all money paid to C.A.R. Business Products by the student shall be refunded.
  3. No refund will be given after 5 days from initial course registration for any reason. However, requests to substitute online anytime courses of equal or lesser value after 5 days will be considered on a case by case basis submitted in writing to education@car.org.

    Damaged/Defective Items

    If the item is damaged or defective due to no fault of yours, we will promptly repair the item or provide you with a replacement item within 10 Business Days of receipt for items that are damaged, defective or have printing errors. If the item cannot be repaired or replaced, we will provide you with a refund including your original and return shipping charges. Please provide documentation of your return shipping costs with your damaged or defective item (such as a copy of your receipt) within 10 Business Days of receipt.

    Canceled Orders

    If for any reason you would like to cancel or change your order with C.A.R. Business Products, please call (213) 739-8227 as soon as possible. We will do everything that we can to accommodate your request. Keep in mind that our system is designed to fill orders and get them on their way as soon as possible. As a result, we cannot cancel or change an order once it has entered the shipping process.

    NOTE: C.A.R. Education will make every effort to hold classes (live or webinar) but may cancel or postpone classes at any time for any reason.

    Credit (California REALTOR® Associations only)

    C.A.R. Business Products will extend credit to California REALTOR® Associations that have maintained a satisfactory payment history with the Accounts Receivable department.
