45-Hour Package of Online CE Courses for your License Renewal. All packages meet DRE requirements for mandatory subjects and course categories. All packages below include an ethics course that also fulfills the REALTOR® Code of Ethics Training Requirement for NAR.
In 2025, C.A.R. will offer a CE package featuring 1 Ethics course and 1 Fair Housing course. Together, these will meet NAR’s newest requirement that asks for REALTORS® to complete both an Ethics course and a Fair Housing course every 3 years. These classes will be designed to automatically record completed status in NAR's database as the standalone Ethics course does today. This 2-class package will also be FREE and part of the C.A.R. Member Benefits catalog. These same 2 classes will be part of the normal 45CE member benefit package as well.
SALESPERSONS
Register here to access the necessary 45 hours of Continuing Education for Salespersons who are reactivating their licenses. If this is your first time renewing your license, click FIRST-TIME below. All other Salesperson Licensees should click on SUBSEQUENT. Licenses must be renewed every four years.
BROKERS
Brokers may enroll for license renewals (first-time or subsequent) by clicking RENEWALS below to fulfill the CA Department of Real Estate requirement to take 45 hours of Continuing Education every four years.
CODE of ETHICS & FAIR HOUSING
Every 3 years, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® requires members to take an Ethics course of at least 2.5 hoursand a Fair Housing course of at least 2 hours. This course bundle emphasizes that the standards of ethical conduct in the practice of real estate. This bundle also contains a Fair Housing course that focuses on federal and state laws governing real estate practices as well.
